About The Foundation

"Live life to the fullest" and that's just what Gina Putman did. She dreamed, she achieved and she followed her heart. After many years in the music business, she left her job and went back to school to pursue her passion in hair and makeup.

Gina passed unexpectedly in August 2019. Her friends and family got together and organized Friendsgiving to honor her.  A high school classmate came up with the idea of starting a scholarship in her name, to be awarded to a deserving recipient.

The first award was given in November 2020 and is awarded yearly. 

As of February 2022, the Gina Putman Foundation is officially a non-profit! This will allow us to work toward our goal of being able to award full scholarship tuition to someone pursuing their dreams!

Our mission is to encourage and empower others to adjust their crown and live their best life, because it's never too late to follow your dreams.

Our purpose is to give back, through the GINArosity (generosity) of others, and award tuition assistance to a deserving recipient pursuing the field of aesthetics and cosmetology.
